Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Üşümez

He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Hacettepe University in 1996. He began his doctoral studies in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Selçuk University, in 1997 and completed them in 2001. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2003, Associate Professor in 2005, and Professor in 2010. In 2008, he was honored with the “Young Scientist” award by the Turkish Dental Association. In 2012, he completed his master’s degree in “Lasers in Dentistry” at RWTH Aachen University. He currently serves as an associate editor for the journal “Lasers in Dental Science.” He has over 100 scientific articles published in domestic and international journals, has served as a translation editor for two books, authored chapters in two different books, and has received oral presentation, poster, and travel grants at various international congresses. She teaches courses on “Laser Applications in Dentistry,” “Smile Design and Porcelain Laminate Veneers,” and “Implant-Supported Prostheses.” She is married and the mother of two children. She speaks English.
