She graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1996. She started her doctorate education at Selçuk University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics in 1997 and completed it in 2001. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 2003, Associate Professor of Science in 2005, and Professor in 2010. In 2008, she won the "Young Scientist" award given by the Turkish Dental Association. In 2012, she completed her master's degree in "Laser in Dentistry" at RWTH Aachen University. She is still working as the assistant editor of the "Lasers in Dental Science" journal. She has more than 100 scientific articles published in Turkish and foreign journals, editorship of 2 book translations, chapter authorship in 2 books, presentations at various international congresses, posters, and travel grants. She lectures on "Laser Applications in Dentistry", "Smile Design and Porcelain Laminate Veneers", and "Implant-top Prosthetics". She is married and has two children. She speaks English.
